Items can be added or edited through file uploading. You can start by downloading a sample CSV file or exporting existing items list as a CSV file. Column names in the file are the same as field names in add item screen.
Only 'yes' / 'no' values would be allowed for the folloing columns:
- Direct sell
- Track inventory
- Service charge
- No service charge

Start from Downloading a Sample CSV File
Items Screen -> Click "Upload CSV" button -> Download Sample File -> Fill in Details -> Upload File

2 - Merge if already exists: If this sitch is on, item edits can be done through the file upload. Items are matched through item name and all other field changes will be merged. If the switch is off, then the system will give duplicate item errors when uploading already existing items (with or without changes to other fields).
Start from Exporting Current Items List
Items Export -> Export data as CSV -> Add/Edit Items in File -> Items Screen -> Click "Upload CSV" button -> Select previous file -> Upload

CSV file is uploaded following the same process as above.
Item name is the matching key in locating a file. So, if the item name is modified, a new item will be added to the system while keeping the old Item as it is.
