Master Data and Transaction Data
One time setup data is referred to as master data. Transaction data is generated by performing business operations using SpicePOS system. Following diagram presents master data and transaction data types in SpicePOS system.

Master data setup should be sufficiently completed prior to starting business operations. You can always put test transactions (so test transaction data is generated) while completing master data setup. Once the master data setup is ready, you can use the data cleanup options of the system to start afresh by clearing only the test transaction data.
