Discounts

Various promotions can be defined in the SpicePOS system through the back-office. Once setup, these promotions will be applied automatically to the bills as discounts and such application will be indicated in the printed bill.

Following types of promotions can be defined.

• Buy 1 get 1 free promotions: Buy x number of goods of a particular item/category and get y number of goods from another or the same item.
• Discount / free offer for bills beyond a threshold: Get a discount to the total bill or give free items if the bill value exceeds a particulart amount.
• Time based discounts: Limit the duration of above discounts. Ex: 3 days from today, 5pm to 7pm every Monday, etc
