Save Order
Orders can be saved for editing and billing later. For this the save button in order taking screen has to be used. Upon saving an order a popup will request the user to enter order details.
This order details window is different for various business types. More details are requested in the case of restaurants or small hotels (table number, room number).
For a restaurant/hotel:

3 | Performer | Select salesperson if different from order taking user. |

6 | Waive off service charge | Waive off service charge applied for the order. This value will continue to billing. Only permitted users can perform this. |
7 | Steard | Order taking steaward in case the POS user is different from actual steward. |
Restaurant/Hotel Specific Behaviour
When saving an order in a restaurant/hotel, by default table number or room number is required. So, specifying a customer is not sufficient to proceed with saving an order. But, if the restaurant/hotel does not want this behaviour and specifying the just the customer is sufficient, the behaviour can be changed in,
Back Office -> Settings -> Restaurant -> Allow Saving Receipts Without Table

After entering order details as explained above, the system will prompt to print KOT/BOT. Users can manually exclude either KOT/BOT printing if required.
