Scope

App level settings only appy to that particular POS terminal. Once a user logs into POS app and set app level settings, that configuration applies to all users belonging to the branch of that user who log into the particular POS terminal. Any changes done would also apply for that subset of user logins.

Settings under "master data setup" category does not follow this behaviour since master data setup is common to the entire business.

Settings Categories

Master data: - Items and categories setup. Only permitted Users can access. Described comprehensively under the topic, Items -> Data Setup through App.

Associated permissions: Manage Categories, Manage Items

General: Order taking, Order printing, bill printing and few other technical configurations. Described comprehensively under the next section.

Printer Settings: USB & bluetooth printer related configurations. Described comprehensively under the topic, Hardware -> Hardware Setup -> Connect USB/bluetooth printers.

Label Printing Settings: Barcode label printers and sticker rolls related settings. Described comprehensively under the topic, Hardware -> Hardware Setup -> Connect barcode printers.
