Add Stock Take
Stock Take (Stock Counting) can be made for adjusting the stock of a Branch to the physical stock available. Usually a Stock Takes are performed periodically for identifying and correcting gaps in inventory management so that issues are identified early.

Create Stock Take
Stock Takes Screen -> Click "Add" button -> Enter Item wise Stock Count -> Save
| Number | Field Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Branch | Branch for which stock is counted. |
| 2 | Search by Barcode | Search Item by Barcode. |
| 3 | Item | Item Name. Can search from Item Name as well. |
| 4 | Quantity | Total Physical Quantity of the Item available in the Branch. |
| 5 | Add | Add selected Item-Count combination to the Stock Take. |
| 6 | Add From File | Upload Stock Take from File. |
| 7 | Download Template File | Template file for Stock Take. |
| 8 | Data Table | Entries selected for the Stock Take. Data Table columns will be further described below. |
| 9 | Cancel | Cancel Stock Take and return to Stock Take Screen. |
| 10 | Save | Save Stock Take. Selected stock will be adjusted from the Branch upon clicking on this button. |
Columns in the Data Table:

| 1 | Item | Name of the Item |
| 2 | Current Quantity | Quantity of the Item according to the system. |
| 3 | New Quantity | Total Physical Quantity of the Item availabale in the Branch. |
| 4 | Adjustment | New Quantity - Cusrrent Quantity. Shown in Red if there is a shortage of the Item and shown in Green if there is an excess in the quantity of the Item in the Branch. |
| 5 | Value Varience | New Stock Value - Current Stock Value, for the Item. |
Once the Save button is clicked, stock of the selected Items in the selected Branch are adjusted to the specified quantities.
