Hardware Requirements

Minimal hardware requirements listed below must be followed. But, if you are buying a SpicePOS hardware bundle, this section can be skipped.

Selecting POS Terminals (or Mobile Devices)

OS              : Android OS.
Android Version : Android 6.0 or above
Minimum RAM     : 2 GB

Selecting Printers

Printing technologies supported:

ESC/POS
EPOS-Print

So, any POS printer using these two printing technologies can be used no matter whether they are thermal printers or dot-matrix printers. Please see the supported printer model list in the website for specific model information.

Selecting Cash Drawers

Cash drawer should be always plugged into the receipt printer (POS printer which prints the bill). So the cash drawer should have compatible voltage with the receipt printer. Please check printer documentation and select a compatible cash drawer.

USB or Bluetooth Barcode Scanners

Selecting Barcode Printers

Printing Technology :   ZPL Command Language
Thus, Zebra barcode printers are only supported at the moment.
