Edit Ongoing Order

Ongoing Orders Screen -> Click "Pencil" icon in Order Actions section

Edit order function can be used to modify the order by adding or removing items from the ongoing order.

Add more items to open order:

Then the order taking screen will be displayed with the order pane filled with previously state of the ongoing order. The user can update the order by adding or removing items. When the user clicks save, the new state of the order get saved in the system. User can also change order details once the order details popup appear (filled with previously entered details).

The updated order will be displayed in the ongoing orders screen.

Restaurant Specific Behaviour

When an order is edited and saved, KOT/BOT will be printed for the difference between the latest and previous state of the orders. More clearly, all newly entered items will be printed. Voided items will be printed in a separate section.
