Print Labels in Bulk

When managing large inventories printing stocks in a bulk is required. For this there are two actions in the options menu of Inventory Screen. Following prerequisites are there for both these actions:

• Label Printer and Label Roll configurations are done as discussed under, Master Data Setup -> Hardware Setup
• Barcode Printer loaded with the configured type of Barcode Label Roll is connected to the POS Machine.

Print Labels for selected Items

POS App -> Inventory Screen -> Options Menu -> Print Labels -> Select Item and Quantity to print labels -> Confirm Action

If the User wants to print barcode labels without adding stock for one or more Items which already have stock, then the User can click on the “Print Labels” option in Options Menu of the Inventory Screen.

Then a popup window appears which allows the User to select the required Items in Stock, specify how much labels need to be printed (bu default available stock is filled as quantity for each Item). Upon confirmation specified Barcode Labels will be printed.

Note: No Inventory update will happen because of this action.

Print Labels for GRN

POS App -> Inventory Screen -> Options Menu -> Print Labels for GRN -> Enter GRN Bill Reference -> Confirm Action

In case Goods Received has been entered from the Back-Office as a GRN and the User wants to print labels for all the stock in that GRN, then the User can click on the “Print Labels For GRN” option in Options Menu of the Inventory Screen.

Then a window will pop up asking for the pGRN Reference Number. This number can be identified in the “GRN” screen in Back-Office.

The labels will be printed once the Reference Number of the Purchase Bill is specified here and confirmed.
